Training Them Live Urban Project

One of our new projects for 2009 is TTL Urban.

We will be visiting schools across Medway to provide free workshops and a range of performance opportunities.

We are currently in phase one of the project, which involves:

  • Receiving application forms to establish a youth DJ Mentor Team.
  • DJ mentor team (25 young people) get training in a CHOICE of DJing, MCing or production (using computer music systems).
  • Attending Pop/Rock School to get one week of experience and practice

Youth leaders for this project:

Karl Graves, Will McAlister and Billy Tanton. Contact is through dan@trainingthemlive.co.uk

Coming to you......

We will be running free DJ, MC and Production workshops in Medway schools from October 2009. If you want us to visit your school, youth group or college, you should speak to your Head of Music and ask them to contact us. The workshops do not cost anything for the school or young people as the project is fully funded.

So What is Training Them Live?

Training Them Live is a youth community project to help young people like you (thats right YOU!), get out there and start playing your music in public. Learn More
