KINGSDOWN CAT SANCTUARY

BESSIE is about 5-7 years. It is very hard to determine the age of strays. She is friendly, does not like other cats very much and hates dogs.

ERIC came in with his mother and sister in September 2004. His mother was very friendly, but he and his sister, aged about 12 weeks had never been handled. Eric is still very timid but relaxes once you managed to stroke him. He would need a very patient home and preferably with his sister, Ella who does not like to be touched at all - she is tabby. He enjoys the company of other cats.

LOTTIE has been living in an old lady’s garden for at least 2 years when we were contacted.  She is a very nice friendly little cat, age unknown but could be 6-10 yrs old She has a thyroid problem and is on daily medication.  Anyone kind enough to give Lottie a home would be provided with the medication etc..

Lolly is about 2 yrs old and found with her kittens living in a shed.  She had just woken up when this photo was taken!!! She is friendly but has a fear of feet which she will attack if she is frightened.  She would need a home where she is the only cat and with someone who would understand her fear of feet.

Katy was a stray and we think is about 8 years old She is friendly but does not like other cats.

Izzie is about 14 yrs old and has been a much loved pet.  Sadly her owner can no longer keep her and she is looking for another quiet home perhaps with an older person who can give the love and care that she has been used to. She is a really sweet and gentle little cat with lots of love to give somone

Barnaby is four years old and a friendly neutered male. Could be an indoor cat as he is a bit frightened of the big outdoor world.

Ringo is about 1-2 years old and was a stray who has not been claimed.  He is an energetic boy who would like a home without other cats please and perhaps a family life with older children

WINNIE was a stray. Age approx 2-5 years but hard to tell. She is a bit of a madam but friendly. Would suit someone who enjoys a cat with spirit!!!  Would suit a home with no other cats.

Two beautiful  10 month old brother and sister.  Have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated and are looking for a good home

Jinxy is 2 yrs old and would like to go with her sister, Muggins.  They are a nice pair of friendly cats although Junxy is a little shy.

William is a huge bonny boy, is 3 yrs old whose owner died.  He is friendly but does not like other cats.

Cuthbert is a  very confident and friendly cat of about 2 yrs - would like to be the only cat of a household!!

Thomas is 8 years old and extremely timid which is why he is still here at the sanctuary. He would quickly become a good companion to someone with patience and understanding of cats.
