Training Them Live is a non-profit community project. It is a registered Ltd company with many exciting strands which involve music, media, events management and sound. There are many strands to TTL all of which aim to support the work we undertake with young people to develop their skills, confidence, talent and knowledge. TTL is involved in hundreds of events each year and is keen to support any performance opportunities for young musicians. We have a strong reputation for delivery and energy. We provide a wide range of activities and services for a range of business, schools, charities and community groups as well as our core work.
TTL sound is a live and recorded sound strand which provides live sound support, recordings, workshops and experiential learning opportunities.
From simple stages to full concert rigs and from solo singer demos to band recordings, TTL-sound has supply the sound solution you need.
Our Events wing, TTLgigs, pulls together many live performance opportunities for young people in Medway and Kent. From intimate stage venues to theatres and concert stages, the project covers it all. From solo singers to full bands, there are opportunities to get your music out there! Young people are involved at every level of the gigs we run, gaining skills which are relevant to their interests. From events organisers and promoters to graphic designers and sound technicians, this project pulls together exciting teams of young people.
Our new Entertainments Agency, in association with Silver Blue Productions, is an excellent showcase of the many professional musicians we work with. This gives our corporate clients a high quality, reliable and community-friendly service to work with. From solo Jazz singers to full swing bands and tribute acts, the Agency offers a path for the young people to aspire to.
ROCK SCHOOL
Rock School is an intensive training programme for 11-18 year olds interested in Music. Beginners and Advanced Musicians alike are given access to top professional musicians. It is FREE. They learn how to play, perform and be a pro! Rock Schools last from 1 day to 5 days and run in the school holidays.
TTL is proud to be a lead partner for the Under Siege concert at Rochester Castle. The concert puts young people on a full size concert stage in front of an audience of 5000 fans in Rochester Castle Gardens. This is a life-changing event which showcases youth music in Medway.

TTL media is a business strand of the project, where profits are used to enhance the core work we undertake with young people. They provide professional web design, graphic design and printing for a variety of businesses. They hold an impressive portfolio of work.
